Jonathan and I are spending our New Year's Eve this year taking care of our sick babies, but we wouldn't have it any other way. It breaks my heart when any of my babies are sick and I would take their sickness myself if I could! But I know that this too shall pass... Please pray for God to heal their little bodies!

They took it very seriously and were very careful to get the whole side yard covered where they thought for sure Santa's sleigh would land! Then they went inside and put out cookies and milk for Santa by the fireplace: 
They were so excited that it took them a long time to go to sleep that night! I love celebrating Christmas, but not just because of the magic of Santa Claus, but because of the birth of our Savior, who was sent to die for our sins! 
This year Jonathan's oldest brother, Andy, and his 
Haley (age 17), Anna (age 10), Adam (age 8), Alex (age 5), Lily (age 5), Maddy (age 4), Katy (age 2) and Parker (age 5 months).

It was "Guaranteed Fight Night" and here is one of many that we saw!:
This was Maddy, Katy, and Parker's 1st Hockey game. The girls were so excited to be with all 4 of their cousins, especially Maddy who sat with her favorite Haley (who she absolutely adores!) They are the 2

He sat with his Daddy during most of the game while Katy was up and down (much happier down!): 
I think Katy had the most fun! She loved watching for the Ice Bears mascot, Chilly: 
She loved eating popcorn and candy 
We stayed for the entire game, and everyone did great! Katy got a little delirious towards the end when it approached the 10:00 hour and was spinning around and around getting dizzy while wearing Alex's VOLS hat: 
What a fun night of Hockey, fighting (!), and fellowship with our family!

When the parade started Lily and Maddy both got on each of their Uncle's shoulders so they could see better. Here is Lily with Uncle Tony:

Parker enjoyed being held in the Bjorn Carrier (even though he is getting extremely too heavy for me to carry him around like that!):

It was such a fun parade with lots of silly entertainment like clowns riding go-carts 
The Hodson's are like family to us, and Emma and Lily have been best friends since they were born! 
It is a Christmas tradition with the Hodson's to make a Gingerbread house every year, so we were so excited to be a part of it, especially since this was the first time that our girls have made one! Mr. Brent did such a good job with putting the Gingerbread house together and decorating it with the icing: 
Lily carefully chose her candy and started by putting gumdrops on the roof: 
Maddy had fun picking out yellow candy and putting them on the windows and chimney:
Katy chose the candy that looked like M&M's to put on the house. I was amazed at how careful she was not to mess up the gingerbread house:
Eli and Lily worked on the house until every last piece of candy was used and the house looked just right:
Lily was so proud of the gingerbread house: 
We enjoyed our time together and these will be sweet memories that the girls will have forever! We love you Hodson family!
