Friday night, April 29th, was bittersweet for our family. We were so excited to see our Katybug perform on stage in her Spring Musical, "The Fruit of the Spirit," but were also sad that this was our last time at West Hills Baptist Church Preschool. We have been part of the WHBC PreS family for 5 years and have loved every minute of it. But, it is time to have all of our children at home together! Here is our Katybug in her school T-shirt:

Then all the classes came back for the finale and sang a Bible medley of songs:
We are so proud of you, Katybug, and are praising God for how much you have grown this school year, not just physically, but spiritually too! Can't wait to have you home with us at Buhl Academy!

Lily is very ticklish so she giggled hysterically! Lily was so proud of her finished product: 
Mr. Claus (aka Mr. Bounds) read a story to the children as they waited their turn for the crafts. Katy and Parker got to join them: 
Then when the children were through rotating through the stations, they gave Mrs. Bounds her Christmas present. Each child made a scrapbook page and Mrs. 
The class then played Musical Presents and decorated a Living Christmas tree. Unfortunately Katy, Parker, and I had to miss those games, but Lily said they were a lot of fun. We had to leave before her party was over because we had to be at Maddy's school next for her party! 
I had to help with one of the crafts, but I managed to sneak a couple of pictures even while taking care of Parker and Katy! Her class got to play "Pin the nose on the Snowman":

But, Maddy's favorite part was decorating and then eating a cupcake: 
We had so much fun partying on Tuesday, but we were exhausted by the end of the day! Katy was so worn out that she fell asleep on the way home: 
Lily and Maddy are enjoying school so much and we are very blessed that they have such wonderful teachers this year! I know they will miss them over Christmas break!
Her class performed two songs. They sang "Wasn't That a Mighty Day":

Maddy did so well and we were so very proud! I always get teary eyed watching my babies singing, especially about Jesus! As Maddy was walking down the aisle on her way back to the classroom, she stopped to smile at the camera:
Her smile just brightens my day! She is my shining star! I love you Madeline Faith!
Then she took us into their new reading center. Their class was able to purchase some cute little furniture from points they earned through Scholastic Book orders. She sat down and read her class book to us.

When we were done with her classroom, we HAD to go visit the Book Fair. Even though we have hundreds of books at home, I let each girl pick out a new one. Jonathan and I both love to read and the girls are definitely following in our footsteps. I don't think we could ever have too many books! 
Maddy is wearing the new backpack that we got her. She chose red since there wasn't any yellow or orange to choose from, and we had her name put on it. She is so proud of her backpack and insisted that I take a picture of it:
