One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

This week is Spring Break and the kids and I have been doing lots of fun things together like playing at the park and going to the Knoxville Zoo. On Thursday, Jonathan took the day off from work and took us to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg. It had been 2 years since we had been to the aquarium, so we were very excited! Katy loved looking at all the "fishies": Parker did so well riding in the stroller and taking in everything: He was mesmerized by all of the water and fish. Look at my baby's big blue eyes!The three girls stuck together all day and took their time watching all of the different fish swimming by:They thought the name, "schooling fish" was funny and wanted me to take a picture of it:They had the most fun in the Discovery Center where they could pretend to be inside of the water with the fish:

Maddy had fun checking the water's flow rate in the Systems Control Center:Lily liked the iguanas: We all loved the Shark Lagoon. It is a moving 340-foot long glidepath that winds through a tunnel of different fish, turtles, and sharks. Katy was fascinated that she could stand still and be moving at the same time: Here are Jonathan and Parker in the Shark Lagoon: and this is what they were looking at: YIKES!! The girls kept asking if the sharks were going to come through the glass. I said, "I hope not!"

We had such a great day together looking at all of God's awesome creations! He is amazing!

And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind.
