Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day, we went to Mimi and Daddy Bill's house for dinner. They are Jonathan's sweet grandparents. This was Parker's first Thanksgiving, and even though he still isn't feeling better, he was all smiles: My nephew, Adam, read Psalm 100 before we said the blessing: Lily, Maddy, Anna, and Adam sat at the kids table: We had so much good food to eat! We ate turkey, potato casserole, corn pudding, broccoli casserole, stuffing, and pumpkin pie! Katy loved the blue cookies we brought for the kids:Parker enjoyed sitting with his Uncle T.: After we ate the kids watched an old Pink Panther video while the women looked through the After Thanksgiving sales ads! Maddy wanted to spend time with her "favorite baby brother" who she is so thankful for: Jonathan and his brother, Tony, got out their map of the Smokey Mountains so they could plan their annual "Saturday after Thanksgiving" hike:We enjoyed our Thanksgiving afternoon together!

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.
